Art wealth intelligence
Art, measured like every other asset you hold.
Rare Form turns published market results and verified transaction documentation into modelled valuations, price direction and collection performance analytics — for acquisition, divestiture and risk planning. Modelled figures are labelled as modelled, never dressed up as recorded sales.

RARE-FORM valuations are algorithmic estimates generated from comparable transactions and modelled market signals. They are not appraisals, and they are not offers to buy or sell. Formal appraisal by a qualified appraiser is a separate, human workflow.

Capabilities
From a single work to a whole balance sheet
Each module answers one question, and shows the evidence it used to answer it.
Modelled valuation
Enter a work and receive a modelled value range in seconds, with every factor that produced it shown — format, scale, edition, condition, provenance and artist momentum.
Open module →Price prediction
Momentum and supply signals project the direction of travel for an artist and medium, with an explicit confidence level rather than a single false-precision number.
Open module →Collection performance
Value against cost basis, twelve-month performance, allocation by artist and sector, and the works pulling the portfolio in either direction.
Open module →Risk and insurance planning
Concentration exposure, insurance gap and liquidity scoring, so a collection can be stress-tested the way the rest of a balance sheet already is.
Open module →Acquisition and divestiture
Test an asking price against modelled value and full transaction costs, then compare auction, private sale and dealer exit routes on net proceeds and time to liquidity.
Open module →Adviser access
Scoped, revocable sharing for advisers, insurers and family offices, so art assets can be incorporated into a wider wealth strategy without handing over the whole collection.
Open module →
For advisers and institutions
Art assets inside the wider wealth strategy
Collectors and their advisers can work from one shared, permissioned view of the collection.
Permissioned sharing
Grant an adviser, insurer or family office access to specific parts of a collection — dashboard, inventory or financials — with an optional expiry and revocation at any time.
Reportable outputs
Value ranges, cost basis, concentration and insurance gap are expressed in the same terms as the rest of a client's portfolio, and can be exported as a collector dossier for review meetings.
Planning scenarios
Model an acquisition against full transaction costs, or compare exit routes on net proceeds and time to liquidity, before a decision reaches the client's wider strategy.

Questions
What this is, and what it is not
- What data sits behind the analysis?
- Models are built on published auction and retail results for the artists we track, combined with the primary documentation we verify on works transacted through RARE-FORM. Where a figure is modelled rather than recorded, it is labelled MODELED, so you always know whether you are looking at a verified fact or an estimate.
- Is a modelled valuation the same as an appraisal?
- No. Algorithmic valuations are estimates generated from comparable transactions and modelled market signals. They are not appraisals and not offers to buy or sell. A formal appraisal by a qualified appraiser is a separate, human workflow we can arrange.
- Can my wealth adviser see the same view?
- Yes. You can grant scoped, revocable access to an adviser, insurer or family office, choosing exactly which parts of your collection data they may view and for how long. Access can be withdrawn at any time.
- How do art assets fit into a broader wealth strategy?
- Art is typically illiquid, insured separately and valued infrequently. Our analytics express a collection in terms your wider strategy already uses — current value range, cost basis, concentration risk, insurance gap and time to liquidity — so it can be considered alongside other assets rather than left out of the picture.
- What does access cost?
- Intelligence is currently open to every RARE-FORM account holder at no cost. The only requirement is a free account.
