Curatorial note
**APC ART is pleased to present this absolutely stunning edition by SNIK — “Retrograde (Metallic)”.** SNIK, the acclaimed UK street art duo, are renowned for their highly detailed hand-cut stencil technique and monumental outdoor murals — works that blur the line between photorealism and dreamlike narrative. Their portraits, often depicting powerful female figures intertwined with natural elements, have become icons of contemporary urban art and are widely collected internationally. “Retrograde (Metallic)” showcases SNIK’s mastery of layered detail and surface texture. Executed as a hand-pulled silkscreen using **metallic silver ink** on premium **Plike** paper, the artwork shimmers dynamically under changing light — creating a sense of movement, depth, and quiet emotional intensity. The work is **hand-numbered** in graphite pencil in the lower left margin and features the **artist’s embossed signature blind stamp** in the lower right — guaranteeing authenticity and direct studio provenance. Edition of **80** Sheet size: **14 × 10 inches (35.6 × 25.4 cm)** From an **investment standpoint**, SNIK remains one of the most compelling voices in contemporary figurative street art. Their editions routinely sell out upon release and continue to show strong secondary-market performance. This particular variant — metallic, intimate in scale, yet powerful in presence — offers exceptional value with high future appreciation potential. The artwork is **brand new** — stored completely **flat to archival standards** since acquisition. No handling marks, creases, or imperfections. The condition is **mint**. The work is **in hand** and will **ship immediately from the USA**. **APC ART proudly offers archival framing options**, including museum-grade UV-protective acrylic and float-mount presentation upon request. **OFFERED EXCLUSIVELY BY APC ART** MIA. ATL. NYC. LONDON. PARIS. LA. TOKYO. Provenance Included with the work will be a copy of the original COA from Bio Editons. Condition The work is brand new.
