Curatorial note
APC ART is proud to present Panda Parent and Children in a Shower of Cherry Blossoms, an absolutely spectacular new edition by legendary Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami. Published by the artist’s own Kaikai Kiki Co., Ltd. in 2026, this joyful, extraordinarily detailed composition brings together several of the most beloved elements of Murakami’s visual universe—his iconic smiling flowers, whimsical panda characters, cherry blossoms and brilliant kaleidoscopic color—in a single beautifully realized work. Measuring an impressive 28 × 28 inches (71.1 × 71.1 cm), the work is executed as a lithograph in colors on wove paper with 4C cold-stamped foil and silkscreen varnish. Each example is hand signed and numbered by Takashi Murakami from the limited edition of only 300 and was published by Kaikai Kiki Co., Ltd. in 2026. Visually, the work is extraordinary.
