Curatorial note

*APC ART is pleased to present “Flowerpower” by Kenny Scharf.* This work is an *archival pigment print in colors* on *300gsm cotton rag fine art paper* with *hand deckled edges*, measuring *24” x 18”*, and comes from a *highly limited edition of only 80*. Each example is *hand signed, numbered, and dated in pencil by the artist*. Included with the work is the *certificate of authenticity issued by Always Art on behalf of the publisher*, guaranteeing authenticity and provenance. This edition was produced as part of *The Zaynab Project*, a *registered charity* dedicated to supporting *families in Gaza* through direct aid, opportunity, and a long-term vision for a brighter future. Through this initiative, *vulnerable children and families receive life-saving assistance where it is needed most*. The project partners with leading contemporary artists to create museum-quality editions that not only meet the highest archival standards, but also contribute meaningfully to humanitarian relief. Works produced under The Zaynab Project carry both cultural and philanthropic significance, adding an important layer of historical and ethical relevance for collectors. Kenny Scharf is universally recognized as one of the most important artists to emerge from the downtown New York art scene. A contemporary and close peer of *Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Richard Hambleton*, Scharf helped define a generation that collapsed the boundaries between street culture, pop iconography, science fiction, and fine art. His work has become foundational to the language of contemporary pop and street-influenced art. Scharf’s work is held in major institutional collections worldwide and is avidly collected by *musicians, actors, designers, and cultural tastemakers*, as well as by serious collectors and museums seeking historically significant examples from this pivotal era. His market continues to strengthen as his role within the canon of contemporary art is increasingly solidified. “Flowerpower” is a quintessential example of Scharf’s visual universe. Radiant color, cartoon-like optimism, and cosmic symbolism are layered with subtle tension beneath the surface. The smiling flower, rainbow arc, and celestial light reference Scharf’s recurring motifs of *joy, humor, environmental consciousness, and universal energy*, while the darker underlying forms introduce depth and narrative complexity. The result is a composition that is playful yet powerful—instantly recognizable as Scharf, and deeply emblematic of his enduring appeal. With an *edition size of only 80*, produced under *The Zaynab Project* and backed by museum-grade materials and documentation, this work stands as an *exceptionally strong acquisition* for both collectors and investors. The combination of rarity, cultural relevance, philanthropic impact, and Scharf’s sustained institutional demand positions this work as an *excellent long-term investment opportunity*. The work is *in hand* and available for immediate shipment. *Archival framing options are available upon request.* *OFFERED EXCLUSIVELY BY APC ART*  *MIA. ATL. NYC. LA. LONDON. PARIS. TOKYO.* Provenance Included with the work will be a certificate of authenticity as issued by the publisher via Always Art.  Condition The work is new in original packaging as distributed by white label editions.
